Here is the famous Ruff 'n' Tumble playdough recipe. This recipe makes a good quality dough that keeps indefinitely in an airtight container.

Mix together in a saucepan:
· 1 cup of flour
· ½ cup of salt
· 1 cup of cold water
· 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
· 2 teaspoons of cream of tartar
· 2 teaspoons of food colouring

Stir all ingredients over medium-high heat until mixture gathers together in a glob exactly as choux pastry does. Knead immediately (or whisk with an electric beater - this works the best)
Store in an airtight container.

Waffles
|

* 500g Flour
* 250g Butter
* 250g Castor sugar
* 125cl milk
* 1 packet baking powder
* 1 packet vanilla sugar
* 3 eggs

Melt the butter and let it cool a little. Add the cold milk. Put the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and add the butter and milk slowly. Mix well. Leave in fridge for a little while. Bake in Waffle iron

Banana Muffins

* 2 cups flour
* 1.5 cups sugar
* 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
* 0.75 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 cup mashed ripe banana
* 1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk or yogurt
* 1/2 cup butter
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon salt
* Oven 350 degrees Farenheit

In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add banana, yogurt, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed until combined. Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour batter into 2 greased and floured round baking pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Salt Dough

* 4 cups flour
* 1 cup salt
* 1 or 1.5 cups hot water (from tap)
* 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Mix the salt and flour together, gradually add the water until the dough becomes elastic (add the oil). If mixture is too sticky, add more flour. Knead the dough until its a good consistency. You can color the dough with food coloring or paint. You can paint your creations after baking them at 200 degrees. Seal on all sides with clear varinsh to keep articles.
